AddressBookToCSV is a one trick pony whose purpose in (artificial) life is to
export contacts from the Mac OS X Address Book to a form
gmail can import.
That form is called CSV, a comma separated value format.
If you want anything more from it, well, you've got the source (or you can ask me).
Homepage.
Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
Log into gmail. Click on "Contacts" and then "Import Contacts". Choose to import the file
generated by AddressBookToCSV.
If you've already imported your contacts into gmail but want to do it again, go ahead. You won't
get duplicates.
- Only roman characters are handled properly.
Gmail can't import unicode as of July 3, 2004.
- Contacts whose names contain commas will not be imported correctly.
Version 1.1, July 3, 2004:
- Handles companies better.
- Pays attention to address book name ordering properties.
- Changed requirements to reflect gmail supporting all browsers.
Version 1.0, June 17, 2004:
